1. hold down the side button. the light will turn blue
2. release the button. wait for the device to reboot
3. connect to 'jamcorder-XXXXXXXX' wifi hotspot. no password
4. go to jamcorder.local in your web browser
5. use the webpage to configure the date & time, device name, performer name, & home wifi password
